Elyza Halpern is a writer and production coordinator. Growing up in suburban Maryland, she first discovered her love for storytelling by forcing- I mean convincing friends and relatives to act in short skits filmed on a flip phone.
In high school, she wrote and directed a series of award winning one-act plays, and participated in a summer program called Filmsters in Annapolis, MD, where she learned the basics of filmmaking.
Upon entering college, she worried that film was too far out of reach as a career goal, and became a Public Policy Analysis and Psychology major. However, she rediscovered her passion for film when she joined Studio 47, a Claremont Colleges organization of student filmmakers, where she is involved in producing a variety of student content.
She is beyond excited to be interning with Prodigium Pictures, and hopes to learn as much as she can about creating Cinema of Change.
After two months at Prodigium, she successfully authored a pitch for Warner Bros. Records and was hired to write the latest Jake Miller music video with Prodigium producing.
